Hi! I’m Jessica Peart. I’m a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and I first started working with Julian 15 years ago, supporting small and medium-sized owner-managed businesses.
My favourite part of the job is working with clients to improve and streamline their business accounting. People find accounts complicated and stressful but I’ve got the knack of decluttering and simplifying. It’s so satisfying to see someone realise that, for the first time, they’ve got easy access to the information they need to make sound business decisions.
I also get a lot of pleasure out of finding ways to reduce their tax bills by advising on business structures, tax reliefs and allowances. With each new client, it’s like solving a puzzle, and when the pieces drop into place… Now that’s satisfying.
Outside work, I spend my time training, travelling and walking my cocker spaniel.
